ECE Paris / AGECE is a French higher education and research organisation. The Cyber-Physical Systems team of the LyRIDS Laboratory works on AI-native networks, vehicular communications and embedded intelligence. Our distinctive asset is more than fifteen years of hands-on work on vehicular communications, from IEEE 802.11p in 2010 through each generation to NR-V2X sidelink and 6G, addressed on experimental, theoretical and standardisation grounds. We have built and operated field testbeds, run measurement campaigns in real road environments, and validated protocol behaviour against deployment conditions rather than simulation alone. This is reinforced by prior industrial work on connected-car architecture and V2X demonstrators. We apply the same field-driven approach to IoT, with operational outdoor LPWAN/LoRaWAN deployments combining on-device intelligence and energy-aware firmware updates. Core competences: deep reinforcement learning for radio resource management (scheduling, adaptive numerology, link adaptation); machine learning for PHY/MAC and cross-layer optimisation; mobility prediction and proactive handover; semantic and goal-oriented communications; NR-V2X sidelink and QoS for safety-critical services; reconfigurable intelligent surfaces; IoT architectures, embedded AI / TinyML, device-edge-cloud offloading; digital twins and co-simulation coupling vehicular mobility with 5G/6G network models. We are a 6G-IA Full Research Member and can contribute to the IKOP assessment. As a non-profit organisation, our participation is funded at 100%. We seek to contribute as a task or work-package partner in AI-native network intelligence, simulation and experimental validation.
ECE Paris is a French graduate engineering school (Grande École) delivering MSc-level engineering degrees in digital technologies, with campuses in Paris, Lyon and Bordeaux. It is operated by AGECE, a non-profit association under French law, and is part of the OMNES Education group. Research is carried out within the LyRIDS Laboratory, whose Cyber-Physical Systems team focuses on connectivity, embedded intelligence and autonomous systems. As a non-profit higher education and research organisation, our participation in Horizon Europe actions is funded at 100%. ECE Paris / AGECE is a Full Research Member of the 6G-IA.
