The core business of Montimage is developing tools for monitoring and testing networks, applications and services; in particular, for the analysis of functional, performance and security aspects; and, for improving context awareness and end-user trust. Montimage's flagship open-source/commercial tool framework (MMT) allows the capture of telecommunication packets, as well as any structured messages, for performing traffic analysis, analysing security and detecting/mitigating security attacks in 5G and IoT networks. It uses deep packet inspection (DPI), statistics and machine learning (ML) techniques to classify traffic, business events, analyse the behaviour, and determine root cause of detected anomalies. Derived from this framework, its open-source tool (5Greplay.org) allows generating normal 5G traffic and attacks, and its Software Defined Radio-based 5G-in-a-Box solution allows rapidly creating a highly secure 5G network for Industry 4.0 applications.
Montimage is a French SME created in 2004 and located in Paris. It is a research-oriented company specialised in cybersecurity, and network and business activity monitoring. It proposes its know-how and tools for helping developers, operators, industry and administrations to improve the quality and reliability of their software and systems. Its highly skilled research team develops innovative open-source and commercial solutions and participates in several national and European collaborative research projects to bring its know-how and tools for improving the security and performance on 5G and IoT networks (e.g., H2020 projects: SANCUS, INSPIRE-5Gplus, Geiger, Puzzle, Spatial, Precinct, and French projects: 5GOpenRoad, Mosaico).
Montimage is member of 6G-IA, ECSO working group on Enterprise security, and coordinating committee of the French cluster Systematic’s Digital Infrastructures and IoT hub.
