We offer advanced expertise in concept specification, modeling, design, microfabrication, and characterization of low-voltage piezoelectric micromirrors for laser beam steering—an essential component in free-space optics. These micromirrors can serve as optical switches, optical cross-connects, and more. Our in-house cleanroom facilities enable the fabrication of cutting-edge microsystems, including piezoelectric thin-film deposition and dielectric optical coatings on 8-inch wafers. We are seeking partners to co-develop the devices and systems that enhance next-generation optical network infrastructure.
Silicon Austria Labs (SAL) is a research center with extensive expertise in Piezoelectric MEMS scanning mirrors. SAL operates 8-inch R&D cleanroom, enables the development and prototyping of cutting-edge microsystems, supporting innovation from concept to functional device.
