We are the Polish vendor of 5G and beyond wireless networks. Our products are: a) complete open RAN 5G disaggregated and virtualized (K8) RAN/Core, b) xApps/RIC for network programmability, c) simulation libraries for 5G NR/SLS based on Matlab (offered both as FRAND in R&D projects and commercialy to customers). We provide solid research potential related to design of: novel schedulers for 5G/6G (e.g. cell-free, cell-free mMIMO, URLLC, eMBB), energy efficiency maximization mechanisms for RAN etc. We combine low-TRL research with validation in the lab (e.g. using real-5G RAN data), we utilize ML techniques (e.g. LSTM, ARIMA, Federated Learning/Transfer Learning) to build models for RIC / Digital Twin). We can deliver 5G NR link level and system level libraries and adjust it towards requirements of a project. Where suitable we can also deal with TRL5-6 implementation of research results for validation in the lab.
IS-Wireless/ISRD develops software-defined 4G and 5G mobile networks based on ORAN architecture together with 5G simulation libraries (LL, SLS) We offer complete network solution: 5G RAN + 5G Core + K8/MANO + RIC + xApps. We are part of 6G-BRICKS/SANDBOX-6G stream C projects, which provide 6G enablers for SNS. Our offer for StreamB also consists of the 5G-NR simulation libraries for Matlab/Octave and SLS simulation libraries. We are strongly rooted in research including:
- algorithm design for RRM (e.g. cell-free, schedulers for URLLC/eMBB/mMTC, mMIMO, etc)
- architecture design e.g. based on open RAN networks
- validation via simulation
- simulator extension based on 3GPP (e.g. mmWaves, channel models, ...)
- network dimensioning (both baseband and compute)
- network performance analysis (capacity, spectral efficiency, reliability, etc)
- network programmability enablers (based on RIC/xApps).
Our 5G network includes standard-compliant (3GPP, ETSI, O-RAN) software and hardware necessary to build 5G and 4G telco networks by MNO, MVNOs, private institutions, municipalities and many more. Our R&D department is involved in many National and EU-funded research projects (15+ since 2012) and has extensive research knowledge on applied research in RAN, intelligent and programmable networks, and novel architecture for B5G/6G networks.
