5G and beyond solutions for the industry digitalization
Our main expertise is on the application of 5G technology to the industry as a key enabler. Our ecosystem is formed by three main pillars:
- 5G devices: our 5G Re-15 modems have been designed for connecting through Ethernet/USB any robot, drone, vehicle, camera, radar, etc., to 5G public and private networks. In this SNS call, we aim at enhancing such devices to future 3GPP releases and validating them in new verticals and use cases.
- 5G digital twin and network planner: we believe in the technology hybridization as the base for creating a 3D dynamic virtual environment. Our solution allows us to capture the changes in the planned area in a digital twin with a 3D scenario used to perform detailed ray tracing channel modelling. We also work on system-level evaluations based on simulations (cell-free, ISAC) with/without realistic scenarios.
- Software platform including network applications: developed as a containerized software solution that provides industrial advanced features to any vertical and in any server. We provide remote driving, telepresence, AI applications, AGV control, etc.
All these solutions have been developed in the context of several EU H2020 projects: 5G-RECORDS (enabling professional 5G wireless cameras for content production), FUDGE-5G (developing 5G devices for industrial scenarios), 5G-INDUCE (intelligent applications based on AI for AGV control), 5G-IANA (remote driving for V2X applications) and iNGENIOUS (system-level simulations for 5G-IoT and beyond). We are also participating in the HE SNS project TARGET-X, which started in January’23.
In this SNS call, we would like to further enhance our portfolio for consolidating our company as a technological leader in the wireless communications area, as well as to explore the new possibilities that 6G may bring us in the future.
